Lisa JensenLisa A. Jensen has over 20 years of litigation experience, primarily in the areas of civil rights, employment discrimination and personal injury. Ms. Jensen has handled cases arising out of sexual harassment, retaliation, race, and gender discrimination as well as age and disability discrimination. She also reviews severance agreements and negotiates employment contracts on behalf of her clients. Additionally, Ms. Jensen handles police misconduct cases. She has obtained significant verdicts and settlements in both the employment and civil rights areas of the practice including a multi-million dollar verdict against the City of Evanston for police misconduct and a seven figure verdict against a large corporate landlord due to the mishandling of master keys resulting in a sexual assault.

In 2008, with the opening of Jensen Law Office, LLC, Ms. Jensen accomplished her vision of combining big firm legal services with the responsiveness and personal touch found only in small law firms. Her varied experiences provide her clients a depth of expertise and pragmatism that is unmatched in the Northern Illinois Legal Market. Efficiency is one of Jensen Law Office, LLC's main strengths. Ms. Jensen is licensed to practice in Illinois and in the Federal court for the Northern District of Illinois. Ms. Jensen also practices before the National Labor Relations Board and the Department of Labor. She obtained her law degree, with high honors, from Chicago Kent College of Law in 1987. Ms. Jensen also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Chicago Kent College of Law and served as a Lecturer at DePaul University on healthcare law. She is the founding member of Jensen Law Office, LLC where she and her staff handle a significant number of complex employment and civil rights matters. Rachel A. Laird practices in the  area of civil rights, employment discrimination and personal injury. She has worked for United States District Court Judge Frederick Kapala, the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Legal Action of Wisconsin. Through her diverse experiences, Ms. Laird has developed a passion for helping clients in a prompt, effective manner and stives to provide quality work with a personal touch.

Ms. Laird is licensed to practice in Illinois, Wisconsin and the Federal court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a graduate of the Marquette University School of Law and graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University with a BSBA concentrating in economics. Ms. Laird is a member of the Winnebago County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Wisconsin Bar Association.
